Official Business Crossing of Shuangmufeng is located at the Erdaobaihe Town of Antu County next to the Sino-Korean border (at east longitude 128°16´& north latitude 42°01´), where one can see the Sangtupong Frontier Station of North Korea on the opposite side. It is 50 kilometers from Erdaobaihe Town of Antu County and 34kilometers from Samchiwon-gun of North Korea.

In 1983, the Official Business Crossing was agreed to be set up after meeting held by Public Security Departments and State Safety Departments. In 1993, Shuangmufeng was granted the status of a temporary cargo transit point by the People’s Government of Jilin Province. After a further discussion at a meeting held by Foreign Departments from both countries in 2000, it was agreed that officials from both countries could pass at specified times after previous approval by concerned departments, and only when necessary, cargo and vehicles could be granted transit at a time that is previously specified by related departments. As for inspection of transit passengers and cargo, Frontier Work Station and Yanji Customs as well as Yanbian Exit and Entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau would supervise the crossing for the time being. For temporary cargo transit, it is required to apply to Provincial Port Office for approval through ports of entry offices of county and prefecture.
