Elizabeth bridge (Hungarian: Erzsébet híd; Slovak: Alžbetin most) connects Slovak city Komárno to Hungarian counterpart Komárom more than 100 years. In the past both cities were part of one city, which was split in 1918 after establishing of the 1st Czechoslovak republic and Hungarian republic. The bridge was built in 1892 and was named after Queen Elizabeth, spouse of the Austro-Hungarian Emperor Francis Joseph I.
