500 North Meridian opened as the American States Insurance Building in 1970. Ambrose Property Group closed on the purchase of the building in June 2014. The office complex has been mostly vacant since their biggest tenant, Safeco Corp. left in 2009. 500 North Meridian is a 436,000 square foot, Class A, seven-floor, multi-tenant office building. Ambrose also purchased the 1,000 space parking garage adjacent to the office complex. By undertaking elevator and lobby upgrades, and adding a new café and state-of-the-art fitness center, Ambrose is on track in allowing 500 North Meridian to return to occupancy.
