Lockboune is the home of Canal Locks. The Ohio Canal system ran west from here through Groveport, Canal Winchester, Waterloo and Lockville to Buckeye Lake.(if you know where to look you can follow it to Lockville) It also ran due south to Circleville, ultimatly to the Ohio River. Following the road NW out of town would be the Columbus Feeder Canal add on.
