  • ...to Tashigang ;-)
  • It looks like an abandoned iron bridge. Floor strips are missing and you can see the river bank below it. Also it appears that something is written in hindi? may like ITBP or BRO. some one who has seen it can give details
  • It must have been a motarable bridge as is evident from the slope of approach road on its east side and on the other side road id lost or damaged by landslide??
  • It is around 200 feet long?
  • The Bridge was never put to use as it collapsed during test drive. A span-bridge close to it exists in working condition.
  • Good information. I feel like i am travel ling in that area,
  • Can you locate that span bridge near by Mr Uttam ?
  • The bridge shown connects to Tashigang village, which is famous for Buddist pilgrimage and it was constucted by H.P public works Deptt.which was damaged during test check for motorable vehicular in the year 2006. Three heavy vehicles along with one young junior engineer, his staff and drivers lost their lives while crossing the bridge.
  • As Span bridges consist of just one big cable, it is not visible in the imagery of this resolution. Mr. Sharma Span bridge is adjacent to it. :-)
  • Thanks for the information Mr Uttam.
