Located at the centre of the Government Precinct, it has an area of about 62.4 hectares. It has been shaped according to existing conditions and the landform of the site. It is an urban forest park defined by the shape of Persiaran Perdana and will act as a green lung for the surrounding developments ie. The VIP Retreat and the Istana Hinggap. Some of the existing vegetation within Taman Putra Perdana will be preserved while new forest species will be introduced to enhance the park.
