As you enter Persiaran Perdana or previously known as the Oval Road in Putrajaya and just before approaching Government Complex Parcel D, you will see a small beige coloured building just off the road. Known as Anjung, that building is Putrajaya's first commercial complex which offers basic services to the public. Formerly known as complex E16, it is located in Parcel E, Precinct 1.

Anjung was constructed earlier than scheduled due to the growing number of working population in Putrajaya which comprises mainly Government employees and their demand for more and better choices of eating places. There are altogether 11 shop lots and one food court in this three storey complex. The complex was opened to public in May 2001.

With the opening of Anjung, the living and working population of Putrajaya and nearby surrounding areas such as Kajang and Bangi as well as tourists to Putrajaya will have a new place to go to if they want to get a bite whether for lunch, tea or dinner besides going to the existing Selera Putra at Dataran Putra and the Food Court in Precinct 8. Besides getting food, they can at the same time do their banking or buy everyday essential items there.
The place is located in Parcel E
