3-story residential building completed in 1838 as a townhouse. It is clad in red brick, with a green cast-iron storefront added in 1885. The cornice above the store is supported by a continuous row of closely spaced, narrow brackets. The store windows have four square columns with fluted fronts facing the street and a fifth round column at the MacDougal Street corner, where the storefront is chamfered at a 45-degree angle; the round columns supports the overhanging upper floors. There is a white metal roof cornice on the West 8th Street facade. The ground floor is occupied by Stumptown Coffee Roasters.
