Helipad Behind BNCOE:
Built in 1989 when Rajiv Gandhi Arrived here To Unveil Basant Udyan
Rajiv was Prime Minister in 1989 and he came to Pusad. This helipad was built for him when he was brought to Pusad by Sudhakar Rao Naik (Chief Minister of Maharastra in 1989) to unveil the newly built Basant Udyan park next to BNCOE (right hand side of BNCOE, sandwiched between BNCOE and Soot Girni).
I was one of the Northie Student from Harayana doing BE. Comp and use to stay in one of the BNCOE hostel nearby.
