park, estate (manor / mansion land), National Trust property (UK)
World famous 18th century landscape gardens open to the public through The National Trust. The gardens contain several ornamental temples, a grotto, picturesque bridge, cottages and the medieval market cross which was removed from the centre of Bristol - a grand piece of architectural salvage. Great displays of flowering shrubs in the Spring and musical events in the summer. The house and gardens were the creation of the Hoare family, bankers in London.
