Montzen (Dutch: Montsen) is a Belgian village in the municipality of Plombières. Platdiet, a Limburgish border dialect, is spoken in the village. The village is located approximately 15 kilometers from the Dutch border (municipality of Vaals) and boasts numerous monuments.

Until the abolition of the Duchy of Limburg, Montzen was the capital of one of the five Limburg high banks. Like the rest of the duchy, Montzen was incorporated into the then-formed department of Ourthe when the French Republic annexed the Southern Netherlands in 1795.
