First World War 1914-1918, interesting place, railway bridge
Moresnet viaduct is a 1200 meter long railway bridge over the valley of the Geul in Moresnet. It is one of the most famous railway bridges of Belgium and Europe. The bridge is part of line 24 (Montzen route Antwerp-Aachen), specially built for the transport of German artillery and troops to the front during the First World War in 1915-1916.
