This site was the birth place of Brown's Chicken restaurant chain, it started in a trailer in 1949 by John and Belva Brown as Brown's Drive-In. Then they constructed a restaurant in 1961 and opened as Brown's Fried Chicken, later changing its name to Brown's Chicken/Brown's Chicken & Pasta in the mid 1970's. That restaurant was demolished around late 1990's. According to the company's website, there are 22 restaurants as of 2025.

The present building was constructed between 1998-1999, it used to house United Trust Bank (Fall 2000-October 1, 2008), loan agency Midwest Title Loans (c. early 2012-c. mid 2021), and COVID-19 testing center Sinai Laboratory (January 2022-early 2023). It is now a middle eastern fast food restaurant, opened softly on January 15, 2024 at noon and officially opened on January 22, 2024. Drive-thru service opened on February 5, 2024.
