Chapel with Relics
St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest houses the mummified right hand of St. Stephen I, the first king of Hungary. This important relic, known as the "Szent Jobb" (Holy Right Hand), is kept in a glass case in one of the basilica's chapels and is displayed annually during a solemn procession on August 20th, Hungarian National Day.
