This spot used to be a hot dog restaurant Pop & Pup/Pop 'N Pup from around mid 1968SC until the early 2000's, that restaurant was demolished in Spring 2002PB. The current building was constructed between mid 2002PB and Fall 2002PB, it used to house a convenience store Supersonic Food Mart from Fall 2002PB (owned by gas stations Marathon from Fall 2002PB until around 2010DC and Phillips 66 from around 2010DC until around early 2015DC [gas station demolished in Fall 2017DC]) until early 2015DC and rug store House of Rugs from around mid 2019DC until 2022DC. The current space is now a Dubai, UAE-based dessert chain, opened in Spring 2023.

Established on June 15, 2020DC by owners Heba and Jafar Awadallah as its first US location, it was originally located at 8258 South Harlem Avenue, Unit B (two doors north from here), it was relocated to this larger location three years later. This restaurant has a second floor dining area and lounge, which provides a view of Harlem Avenue and Bridgeview.

A second location was opened in Willowbrook on December 17, 2020DC and a third location in Dearborn Heights, Michigan on July 22, 2021DC.
