A typical rock Islet with a skerry distance, 200 meters North of Rockall with an area of 300 square meters (3,229.17 square feet) in Helen's Reef. In 1904 the Danish ship SS Norge discovered the skerry resulting in the decease of at least 635 passengers. 51 years later the United Kingdom claimed the skerry and in 1972 the claim was ratified by UNCLOS. In 2007 talks in Copenhagen led to internationalization the surroundings of Hasselwood Rock, the talks led to the EEZ of the skerry. The skerry is British and it is a moderately productive fishing zone in the North Atlantic. It is also called "Haselwood Rock".
