  • Much fuss is made over the time taken to travel between Lands End and John 'o'Groats at the far North end of Scotland/Great Britain by different means. for instance the record for a bicycle is under 2 days and the overall record is about 46 minutes by Harrier Jump-jet.
  • It has been posted that a fee is charged to access the official sign post. Many serious racers just have their pictures taken at the enterance to the gated area.
