The small church is decorated with stucco by the Salzburg artist Josef Schmidt, and the altars in three shells are dedicated to the saints: St. Bartholomew, St. Catherine and St. James. The choice of St. Bartholomew as the patron saint of the entire church also referred to the fact that he was considered the patron saint of Alpine farmers and dairymen. St. Bartholomew's Church belongs to the parish of Unterstein, which has its seat in Unterschönau and is subordinate to the municipality of Schönau am Königssee.
The place is located in St. Bartholomew's Church
