The organ dates back to an instrument built in 1869 by the organ builder Max Maerz from Munich.[3] In 1969, the organ was renovated behind the historic facade by the organ builder Carl Schuster (Munich). It has 31 stops distributed across three manuals and a pedal board. The key and stop action mechanisms are electric.
