Heppenbach is a village in the Belgian province of Liège and a submunicipality of Amel in the East Cantons.
In 1919, the municipality of Heppenbach was formed from parts of Amel. In 1977, Heppenbach, along with Meyerode, was reintegrated into Amel.
The submunicipality of Heppenbach includes the villages of Halenfeld, Hepscheid, Mirfeld, Mirfelderbusch, Möderscheid, Valender, and Wereth. Heppenbach itself has approximately 260 inhabitants, while the entire submunicipality has approximately 1,200.
