A partly natural, partly man-made mound called Kale ("Castle") by the locals, is the site of ancient Roman and Byzantine Ouetisson (Ueteston in Ptolemy, Vetisso in the Tabula Peutingeriana). It is located about 1.5 km northwest of the center of the village of Beşışıklı. Much of the site has been obliterated by agriculture. Remains of a cistern in the western part of the mound.
