The brewery was closed in February 2010 and demolished in August/September 2011.

It has been confirmed that Tesco are planning a new 700,000 sq ft distribution centre to be built on the site, this will be the replacement for their current D.C. at Weybridge. Although its still in the planning phase it has the backing of Reading Council.
It is reported the site was sold to Tesco for £40 million
