TSH is Canada’s largest urban community hospital, with approximately 3,700 staff members, more than 700 physicians, and 800 volunteers. With an annual budget of $280 million and a 600-bed capacity, the hospital provides a diverse range of services across 11 patient care areas:

In addition to providing a range of community-based health care services, TSH is a regional treatment centre for Dialysis and sexual assault care. It is also a regional referral centre for vascular surgery, pacemaker implants, and corneal implants.

TSH also features:

* Unique family-centred birthing care, recognized across North America.
* Level 2 Special Care Nursery designation on both campuses.
* One of Canada's first mental health Assertive Community Treatment Teams.
* Unique programs to meet our diverse community's language and cultural needs.
* The 'Til I Sleep program, allowing paediatric surgery patients to be accompanied by a parent until their anesthetic takes effect.
