In addition to providing a range of community-based health care services, TSH is a regional treatment centre for Dialysis and sexual assault care. It is also a regional referral centre for vascular surgery, pacemaker implants, and corneal implants.

* Level 2 Special Care Nursery designation on both campuses.
* One of Canada's first mental health Assertive Community Treatment Teams.
* Unique programs to meet our diverse community's language and cultural needs.
* The 'Til I Sleep program, allowing paediatric surgery patients to be accompanied by a parent until their anesthetic takes effect.
