A roughly 45-acre large lake in Belleville, Wisconsin. The lake has a maximum depth of 12 ft and includes panfish, largemouth bass and northern pike fish. To support milling in Belleville, the nearby Sugar River was dammed to form a mill pond. Lake Belle View was artificially formed after Belleville residents decided to free the river, but wanted to preserve a lake. The lake's water is supplied by a cold spring.
