Owned by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and leased and operated by the United States Enrichment Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of USEC Inc. This site has been used to enrich weapons grade fuel as well as fuel for commercial & military reactors. Currently the site is transitioning to a centrifuge technology and is continuing to enrich uranium from former soviet union nuclear warheads.
