Nagudi located at Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District,Tamilnadu, India.
Nagudi is a typical indian village with little modern mould.Naturally surrounded by tails of river kaveri,ponds and lot of lakes. Peoples are friendly by nature./Rasheed from singapore.
One of the multi-racial town (I can say nagudy is a town, as it has more amenities). Surrounded by water in all the directions. every water source has its own temple. We have one street for shops which is always crowded all the time. Even though we dont have any special attractions in particular, Our hospital banyan tree and play ground is the best place for us and its a memorable place for all the Nagudians(there is no such word, anyway i describe nagudy people as nagudians). The tree has almost all the nagudians name on it. But its very sad to say that the tree's branches had been amputated presently.
Games: Cricket, Ball-badminton, kabady, carrom, cards and some times thaayam.
Teams: MMCC(Muthaiya Muralidharan Cricket Club) and NSC(Nagudi Sports Club)
Love this place and people.

In Nagudi, you can find all facilities like Theater, Government Hospital, Veterinary hospital, Police station,
Electricity Board, Government Higher Secondary school, All race temples, Medicals, Kaveri river, Bus stand, Marriage halls, Taxi stand, Travelers bungalow, etc...

You can find lots of Tea stalls in Nagudi. Especially, Thirupathi vilas tea stall is very famous in nagudi.

  • hi senthil, hay tell me the truth realy do yo think that the kalakudi thoppu is royal village? and also i wants to know the reason of that benind all the names you have mentioned nature of the people and as well as qualification . this kind of bloody things is going only in our tamilnaad if a personn is well qualified than he no need to do the advertiesment right?we have to change this kind of tendency.all the people have to improve and to get good education learning all the language what ever we can including as well as some forign language like french or german this will be very big usefull for their future. hindi is not our enemy language as our politician saying . it is one of our language if we learn hindi also will be helpfull in our school days we did not get a change to learn.but for student we have to advice it is our responsbility than only our people can go forign and all, for a good position.go anywhere in the world make money and invest in our place than only our area will be as develobed area .
