By far not the San Deigo Zoo. However, a joy to go to as a side trip. You are literally feet away from the animals and it is free. There is a donations box at the entrance and you should always be fair and kind by giving some money to support the animals. The locals use this zoo just as any community zoo in the US and you will leave feeling good knowing you supported it.
