Yuxi City is a prefecture-level city in the Yunnan province, China, in the west edge of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. Area: 15,258 square kilometres (5,891 square miles) and the population is about 2,034,000. Yuxi is rich in crops and tobacco leaves, hence its honor 'Barn of Middle Yunnan Province' and 'Hometown of Yunnan Tobacco'.
