Tongrinelle (or Tongrenelle) is a hamlet in the village of Tongrinne in the province of Namur in Belgium. With Tongrinne it is now part of the municipality of Sombreffe, in the Walloon Region.
Located immediately to the west of Tongrinne, the hamlet is crossed by the Ligne, a river which is a tributary of the Orneau (and a sub-tributary of the Sambre). Very close to the village of Ligny where the battle of June 16, 1815 took place, Napoleon's last victory before the defeat of Waterloo (June 18, 1815) Tongrinne and Tongrinelle are often mentioned in the history books of this period...
