Completed in 1998, this 126 m (413 ft), 30-storey tower is the headquarters of ExxonMobil Malaysia. ExxonMobil, is an American multinational oil and gas corporation. It is one of the largest publicly traded companies in the world. It is a major crude oil producer and a leading supplier of natural gas to the country. It produce about 25 percent of Malaysia’s oil production and about 50 percent of natural gas supplies to Peninsular Malaysia.

ExxonMobil’s predecessor Standard Oil began prospecting for oil in Malaysia as far back as the early 1900s, culminating with the incorporation of the exploration arm Esso Exploration Malaysia Inc. in 1965. Today, ExxonMobil have working interest in 6 Production Sharing Contracts with Petronas, Malaysia’s national oil and gas corporation.
