Parking lot 5 is the free parking lot closest to Lost Lake. Turn left onto the Valley Trail and walk a short distance to pass under Lorimer Road, then go over the turquoise bridge to the southern entrance to Lost Lake Park. Here you will find trail maps posted. There is a booth for cross-country skiing tickets. At the X-Country Connection booth, you can rent ski and snowshoeing equipment. Generous advice is also provided. In spring, summer, and fall, there is bike rental service instead. Or, you can do what most people do, walk around the lake and enjoy the park for free.
