St. Mark Lutheran Church

St. Mark Lutheran Church was established in 1891 by 8 charter members. Our church and school house were originally near the parsonage on Washington Street, and in 1941, a new sandstone church was built at it's present location-in celebration
of our 50th anniversary. Our present school was built in 1954, behind the church.

Our Mission Statement
To reach all people with the good news of God's love and salvation through Christ.

St. Mark Lutheran School

St. Mark Lutheran School has provided quality Christian education to students in Preschool through Grade Eight for over 100 years. We continue to meet or exceed all New York State standards with our developmentally appropriate curriculum. Our caring faculty and staff provide a wonderful learning environment that helps ease the transition from home to school for our younger students and allows our older students the setting they need to flourish.

Our Mission Statement
The mission of St. Mark Lutheran School is to nurture and educate our children as a formal extension of our Christian Faith through partership with our congregational families and surrounding communities.
