Matznaberd Monastery (Armenian: Մածնաբերդի վանք), also pronounced Mlznaberd (Armenian: Մլզնաբերդ), is a medieval Armenian monastic complex, currently located in the Dashkesan region of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the Gardman province of the Utik province of the historical Greater Armenia. It is located 2.2 km southeast of the village of Hartshangist (now Chovdar), on the top of a mountain (1648 m above sea level). The monastery got its name from the medieval Armenian fortress of Matznaberd, standing nearby, that is why it is called "Matznaberd Monastery". The monastery consists of one church known as Surb Vardanants Zoravorats (Armenian: Սբ. Վարդանանց զորավարաց, meaning: Saint Vardan Warlords) and Surb Sargis (Armenian: Սբ. Սարգիս, romanized: Saint Sargis) in the records of the 1891, there were renovation of the church.
