Construction side for the San Diego State University expansion in Mission Valley. Upon completion, it will be home to the new Aztec Stadium, residences, shops, parks, and open space. Built on the site of San Diego Stadium, former home of the San Diego Chargers (1967-2017), San Diego Padres (1968-2003), and San Diego State Aztecs (1967-2019). San Diego Stadium was completed in 1967, and was closed in 2020, with demolition completed in March 2021 to make room for the new project.
