Two aggregate, sand and gravel quarries on either side of Kapaa Quarry Road, Kailua and located in the Kapa‘a Valley.

The Kapa‘a Quarry began operations late 1949.

The current quarry operations (2019) are in the Ameron Quarry (Phase 2 pit) on the the eastern side of the John A Burns Highway (H3). Operated by Honolulu Construction & Draying Co. Ltd (HC&D LLC) which merged with Ameron Inc in 1977. The company was then known as Ameron Hawaii. In 2014 the company reverted back to local ownership and changed its name back to HC&D.

The Phase 2 pit covers an area of approximately 152 acres.

The Ameron quarry (or Phase I pit) located on the western side of H3, is now water filled.

The quarries are part of the Ko'olau Shield Volcano.
