This 236-acre gentleman's farm was established in 1913 by George M. Hendee, co-founder of the Indian Motorcycle Company. Though the original main manor house no longer exists, the impressive Colonial Revival-style dairy barn is now the focal point of the property. The former Suffield branch of the Lincoln Culinary Institute occupies part of the site as well, though that complex does not historically contribute to the property and is vacant as of 2020.
