The ruined settlement mound of Ancient and Medieval Kodylessos is located at Gödelisin Harabeler ("Ruins of Gödelisin"), between modern Güneysınır and Emirhan. Some of the old city's remains are still visible on site, although they are largely overgrown and partly effaced by agriculture. Numerous spolia from the site have been found in the modern settlements in the vicinity.
