In Turkish, Midas Kenti, the popular name of the Phrygian-period ruins round Yazılıkaya in the Eskişehir province of Turkey. The remains include portions of fortifications, rock reliefs, rock-cut tombs, cisterns, and number about 33. Among the tombs is one with a dedication to a potentate named Midas, popularly but without proof identified with the famous king of Phrygia of that name.
