The highest peak of the Karacadağ Mountains in central Turkey. There are remains of an old plundered cemetery and of the iron-age stone outer wall surrounding the Çevre Kale site. The site is also tentatively identified as the location of a Byzantine signal beacon in the Middle Ages.
