The ruined site of an ancient fortress located within the mountainous area northwest of Yaraşlı. Although the site has yielded some earlier (Old Hittite) and later (Byzantine) remains, the main features are believed to be the work of the Iron-Age Phrygians and/or Lydians. The main features of the site visible today are the defensive perimeter made up of a rampart and ditch, with a gate to the southwest and a special northern enclosure (citadel) to the north. Traces of building foundations can be seen on the surface throughout the fortified area.
