Former railroad traction substation for the Cleveland union Terminal electrification project that ran 17 miles between Lindale and Collingwood, via downtown, between 1930 and 1955. This facility supplied 3000v DC to the overhead electrification system.

Building is now a warehouse for the Hilson nut company.
