The former unincorporated town of Augusta is located in Pike Township, Marion County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The small village, once home to a post office and general stores, was settled in the 1800s with the completion of the Michigan Road. Indianapolis absorbed the community in the 1970 city-county consolidation, Unigov. All that remains are the original street grid, a few older homes, and a cemetery. Polygon is approximate.
