The new vegetable&fruits market, opened June, 29, 2020 by the People's Municipality in Qamishlo (Autonomous Administration). Starting in May 8, moved from a market in the Wusta district to improve sanitation and reduce crowding and congestion on main streets in the city center to preserve the aesthetic of the city and protect citizens from spread of diseases and epidemics. The market was created before the war, but it worked only partially, and with the onset of the conflict generally closed. The market has up to 125 trading places, which will be distributed at a symbolic cost of rent of 10 thousand SYP per month with a fixed 5-year contract.
