National Awakening Museum is a museum located in Central Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. Formerly houses STOVIA medical school, the STOVIA had key role on Indonesian independence through its foundation of numerous nationalist organisation, most notably Dr. Sutomo's Boedi Utomo (Soewandi spelling). The museum opened in 1984, after formerly houses 4 museums, and before 1973, as housing for former Dutch military member family and Ambonese peoples.
