Ujina is a village and Gram Panchayat in Nuh Block Nuh Tehsil in Nuh District of Haryana.

Said to be founded nearly about 1000 years ago by Baba Baijal with the instruction of a Kashi Pandit from Khedewale's family. Famous for brave and intelligent people.This village came in the news during Mohammad. Khilaji regime ,when he got defeated here.Ex minister in Haryana Government Late Shri Surajpal was a notable personality of the area.

    Well I am writing this to my fellow villagers and younger generation. UJINA has been known for bravery. Village didnot succumb even in 1947 when there was total chaos and it was free for all. Muslims being in large Nos were on killing spree. Surrounding villages were fleeing to safer places. But Ujina stood and no one could dare to even look towards it . The strength of the village was UNITY but now the present generation for their immediate political gain has divided the village. No one is trying for the collective growth. Pls do some thing for the village so we can be proud of our village in modern era too.

    nw a days this is one of the famous village of haryana only because of late. sh. surajpal singh. i also born and bout up in this village seriously if u wants to meet real rajput than ths is the only place where u can. kunwar sanjay singh candidate of b.j.p he"s also from same village. here v have many places to visit. in short you can say that this village in pakistan.

    Mr. Ashok Kumar has rightly mentioned about Ujinias support to Muslim Ujinias in 1947. My uncle (Mamoo) remembered one such incident (once narrated to me) when during that time his fellow Hindu Ujinias stood with them against the attackers from the surrounding areas. I don’t know that how long such fellowship/sentiments continued to exist during that transition phase but it did happen, it was great on the part of Ujinias to support their Muslim Ujinias who lived with them for generations.

    Sir, the history says that this village helped many muslims not only the countable muslims but also the villages of muslims for instance village raipuri, rani ka,and the nearest villages are using the land which has given to these villages by ujina ,we are still like as we used to be but the most of the muslim population in mewat hate people of ujina we don't know why it is so. we should live friendly and should do something that can boost up the development of mewat
