  This bridge is on it's last legs. On a federal rating of bridges it's got a 2 out of 100. Another bridge will probably be built parallel to it, but nobody knows when that will happen. Probably not until about 2010. In the meantime, be careful.

  Hopefully they can leave it up for bikes/pedestrians when the replacement arrives. Unless, of course, it's going to collapse. As of right now crossing on a bike isn't the most convenient.

  i love this bridge, but i'll go with the ross island bridge. it's safer.
