Ramsey is an unincorporated community in section 23 of Lansing Township, Mower County, MN, just north of Austin, MN. (Not to be confused with the City of Ramsey in Anoka County)
It was platted in 1873 at the junction of two railroad lines, and at one time a stagecoach service operated between Austin and Ramsey. The village had a post office from 1874-75.
The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad served Ramsey from 1866 until 1985, with a line now operated by the Iowa, Chicago and Eastern.
