It was here that the first cry against the English was let out and heard. About 66 kukas( they are a sect of Namdharis, followers of Guru Ram Singh ji, who was jailed and sent Burma)were tied to tanks and blown up alive. This 66 feet tall tower with 66 circles in it, commorates the first spark that let of the fight for independence from the little city, it was.It stands as a witness to our first war of independence and the city's contribution to it.
