First built c. 1672 as a small house by Mary Washburn Willets. Since there was no meeting house in Jericho, Mary Washburn Willets would open her home in 1783 for Quaker Worship.
In 1961, it was purchased by James Murphy (a relative of Patricia and Lauraine Murphy) and from that point forward functioned as a well-known restaurant/catering hall.
