Former St. Gabriel's Monastery which was designed c. 1908 by T. Edward Sheehan in the Mission Revival style with landscaping by the Olmsted Brothers in 1914. Church of St. Gabriel was designed soon after by Maginnis & Walsh.

In 1966, the Shrine to Our Lady Fatima, a one-story, hexagonal structure, was added. It was reportedly a reproduction of the vision seen by three children in a hollow in Portugal. It was sponsored by the Crusaders of Fatima, a Portuguese-Arnerican organization.

The site is being restored and devloped by Cabot, Cabot & Forbes/Peak Campus Development into 679 apartments in three new buildings.
